This is yet another installment of a quirky project I pursue simply because it’s super fun—setting canonical poetry to music. Really, just creating these is worth the time to me and gets, as they say, the juices flowing.
Today I give you Wallace Stevens’s famous “Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird.” For this version, which also uses AI-generated voices, I tried to select a different voice for each “way” of looking at a blackbird. And like the others, I made all of the music myself in GarageBand.
