Update on Bird Bodies (And Bird Brains)

Recently, I wrote about literal bird bodies and figurative bird brains.

This is a brief update to say that, outside of the kitchen window, we now have baby cardinals and, true to form, the grand and beautiful female cardinal keeping watch over all activities. I hope the view is okay (enlarging to full screen helps) as it is hard to get close without disturbing them. I think there are two additions to the nest, but I cannot quite confirm how many new bird bodies and brains are present. (If you would like to hear the dishwasher, listen with sound.)
